Jane has a BA Hons in Textile Design and an MSc in Advanced Textiles and Performance Clothing. Her PhD focused on the relationship between the design of outdoor clothing and its performance during use. Jane has over 15 years’ experience of working in the outdoor industry in a variety of roles, including garment and equipment manufacture, retail and media and she is currently working for the European Outdoor Group as their CSR and Sustainability Project Manager. This role benefits from her academic background combined with a working overview of the textile industry and hands on experience in the manufacturing supply chain in Europe and Asia.
