Mark Held and Christoph Krauss: “Unique Insight into the Outdoor Market and Consumer Behaviour”

Mark Held, General Secretary of the European Outdoor Group (EOG), is giving a comprehensive overview of the status quo during his presentation “Overview of the European Outdoor Market in Central Europe”.
Those insights are based on the EOG “State of Trade”, a study for the outdoor industry, reporting market data across almost 50 product lines from seven main categories - with over 110 outdoor brands taking part in the project. Especially for the European Outdoor Summit, EOG General Secretary Mark Held will share some hard figures on the German, Austrian and Swiss market and look behind interesting developments analyzed in cooperation with over 110 brands and retailers.
Christoph Krauss continues with “Consumer Decision Journeys in the Outdoor Market – from insights to action“. The Founder and General Manager of Benchmarking Excellence (benchex GmbH), a consultancy company specialized on insight driven marketing and sales processes, conducted in 2013 a comprehensive study with more than one thousand outdoor consumers in Germany on their buying behaviour. The exciting results will be presented to the participants of the European Outdoor Summit 2014 by ISPO Academy.
