Professor Dr Braungart has been involved for more than 25 years with research and consultancy for eco-effective products for companies and organizations from different branches.

As founder and scientific CEO of “EPEA Internationale Umweltforschung GmbH” in Hamburg, co-founder and scientific head of “McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry” (MBDC) in Charlottesville, Virginia (USA), founder and scientific head of the “Hamburger Umweltinstitut” (HUI) and holder of four academic chairs at different European universities he knows the complexity of his field of work from a business and at the same time a scientific level.

Besides receiving several awards for his research and development he was awarded an honorary professorship from TU München in 2013 and from Hasselt University (Belgium).


Professor Dr Ulrich Reinhardt

“What changes can we see in society, leisure, travel and also consumer behaviours within the demographic change” are Professor Reinhard’s main scientific fields.

He is Scientific Head at the BAT Foundation for Future Studies, holds a professorship at the University of applied science Westcoast / Heide and is lecturer at different universities.

As one of the leading scientist in the field of demography and the meaning of changes for business models, he is a member of the World Future Society and of the Future Council of the prime minister of the German state Schleswig-Holstein. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Stifterverband der Deutschen Wissenschaft and the Nordmetall Stiftung.
