First keynote speaker announced
The European Outdoor Summit is happy to announce the first keynote speaker. Internationally renowned future trend analysis agency Kairos Future works with global companies such as Volvo, Atlas Copco, IBM and Thule as well as the Swedish Government and WWF. Their solid reputation in trend analysis and strategic consulting has helped many companies and organisations shape their future and now they will take the stage at the European Outdoor Summit to talk about future trends in retail, consumer behavior, values and lifestyles and many more aspects that will influence our industry.
Furthermore, they will also conduct an exclusive Delphi study with a panel of experts in and outside the outdoor industry. A Delphi study is an interactive forecasting method with questionnaires and panel discussions resulting in a unique study of not only what the future might look like, but also a rough timeline on the development.
The day before the Summit, Kairos Future will stage an optional ‘Future trend workshop’ with seminars and interactive workshops for those who want to dig deeper into the subject of the future and the consequences for our trade.
The keynote speaker from Kairos Future is Jörgen Jedbratt, senior partner and consultant. Jörgen is a researcher and advisor, with a focus on trends and future-adapted strategic development in companies, public authorities and organisations.
He has extensive experience in business intelligence and scenario planning, and is particularly interested in the consumer of the future, the development of new media arenas, and the new challenges in changed business environments that the organisations of the future will face.
A market economist with a degree from the Institute for Advanced Marketplace Training, Jörgen holds an MBA with a specialisation in organization and leadership from an American university.
He co-authored one of the first Swedish business-oriented books about the Internet,
